5:28 PM I was startled by the fact that how parents can be so irresponsible nowadays.

I've heard about children being thrown away because of their sex, health, and even the date and time they're born(superstitions). Some just torture their child like nobody's business.
I haven't read these books yet, but I sort of get the story.

'A boy called IT', this is terrible. The mother doesn't acknowledge that her son is a human. And addresses him as it, as though he's a animal.
I read one very nice comment, but I really can't recall. Shall update when I go buy the book.

'ugly', I thought every child is beautiful, wonderful in a mother's eye?
A girl showed her mother her class photo and the reply she recieved was nothing she had ever expected.
'lord, sweet lord why is she so ugly, ugly, ugly...'
Why say such things to a girl.
Can't understand what people are thinking nowadays. I really can't make sense out of it..

'belonging', she was raped, pregnant at 13, forced to marry at a young age, and was abducted by her own brother when she escaped.
This really saddens people.
I can't understand why people have to do this. They're just children.
I'm speechless when I saw the summary of the story.
If you think your life is terrible, think about these children.
I'm not saying you have to sympathize them, but treasure what you have now.
You're a lot more fortunate.

If you don't believe this, I think people around me have irresponsible parents too.
Someone who never keeps his/her promise, have a mistress outside, fails to take care of your family, etc.

I'm encountering one now and I'm really at a loss now.
束手无策.
Sigh..

What to do?
Nothing.
I really can't do a thing.
I'm sitting on the fence now and think.
Perhaps this should be a chance for me to reflect and learn from it..
Never to let this happen to my child.

it's not very convenient to write here about what's happening.
But at least I've vent my frustration.

I do feel that some adults are very childish.
If you don't want a child then take note of your behavior.
Why give yourself a chance to destroy someone's life.
everyone is gifted in some way and they have their rights.
Not for you to torture them just because You gave birth to them.

I really can't stand those people who think that they're always right.
What makes you people think that beating, scolding or abusing your child makes them listen to you or make them grow up to thank you for those beatings?
ridiculous..

Have you stand in their shoes and think for them?
Did you even thought of the consequences?
What if instead of being AFRAID of you and learns to be obedient, they become terrified at the sight of you. And they become psychologically damaged?
Worst still they start to rebel, they do whatever you ask them not to do..

I don't know about anyone reading this post, but at least I'll be more conscious about my actions in days to come.

P.s. I merely read the summary of those 3 books from the back of the book itself.
Hope I won't get into copyright problem.
